USA Travel blogger Matt Logan
Tourism WA recently invited American travel blogger Matt Logan to visit the Goldfields of Western Australia.
Giving up his office job to take on the sites of the world, Matt now has the enviable task of visiting some of the most exciting destinations around the globe and keeping his one million fans updated on his travels.
Mandi Warry, Manager of Goldfields Tourism Network, recently spent two days escorting Matt on the Golden Quest Discovery Trail from Coolgardie to Leonora visiting Lake Ballard, Menzies, and Hoover House in the Gwalia Museum Precinct, and the historic sites in between. Hoover House was of particular interest to Matt as the homestead was commissioned for Herbert Hoover, who was at the time the General Manager of Sons of Gwalia mine. Hoover would later enter politics in the United States and become their 31st President.
