A popular camping and picnic location with locals and visitors alike, Niagara Dam is a pleasant surprise for all. The story that relates how the Dam came into being is fascinating and the end result is a water catchment area that allows visitors to marvel. There are ringed BBQ areas in the three designated sites at Niagara Dam, but the shire of Menzies requests that visitors bring their own firewood. A gas BBQ is also located near the Western end of the Dam wall. Water levels in the Dam are improving due to favourable April 2010 rainfall.
